The Bigg Boss house has witnessed a lot of clashes between contestants over the last few month and is now divided into two groups. While in the latest episode, Sidharth Shukla caused trouble when he confessed to Asim and Shefali that he no longer trusts Arti, Asim also got into a fight with fellow contestant Tehseen Poonawalla. Tehseen mocked Asim for being a model for underwear brands.
Asim’s brother Umar has taken to social media to defend him and penned a note condemning Tehseen’s behaviour. He wrote in an Instagram story, “The way Tehseen Poonawalla mocked Asim was way out of the league. Bullying him for where he comes from career, walk was totally unacceptable. Being a social activist and a public speaker, I respected him and expected more.”
Umar added that he was proud of Asim because he didn’t retaliate negatively. “But Asim didn’t say anything to him. This makes me feel more proud of my brother. Way to go bro. You have won hearts by your patience and keep doing that! More power to you bro (sic),” he wrote.
Tehseen Poonawalla is one of the wildcard entries in this season of Bigg Boss. Salman Khan announced his appearance along with YouTuber and Internet personality Hindustani Bhau during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode on 26 October.
