The 10th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati rolls out tonight and believe it or not it’s been 18 years since the show began to inform, engage and entertain television viewers across India. The first season of Kaun Banega Crorepati premiered on 3 July 2000 and was Amitabh Bachchan’s first ever appearance on television has a show host on Star TV. 18 years later, the show enters its 10 season on Sony Entertainment Television and Bachchan who was 57-years-old when he began hosting the quiz show is now 75! Shah Rukh Khan hosted the show during its third season, but Bachchan was back for season four, because the ratings of KBC had dropped.
As KBC’s 10th season takes off, who better than Amitabh Bachchan to take you through the journey of the show over the last 18 years?
