Director Vikramaditya Motwane seems to have thrown a challenge to himself by constraining his film Trapped to tell a story about a guy (Rajkummar Rao) trapped in his own apartment. If the trailer is anything to go by Trapped looks like a intense thriller and you can almost feel Rao’s desperate cry to be released.
After Udaan and Lootera, Motwane has chosen an out-of-the-box subject, and since the film received a standing ovation at the MAMI festival last year, we just might have a sleeper hit here.
