South Indian superstar Mohanlal released the official trailer of his upcoming war movie, 1971: Beyond Borders in Malayalam.
Written and directed by Major Ravi, the plot of the film revolves around the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
The movie has Mohanlal in the role of an army man in service of his motherland. 1971 is, reportedly, the fourth installment in the Major Mahadevan film series. According to reports, Mohanlal will play a double role in the film.
Produced by Haneef Mohammad under the Red Rose Creations banner, the film also stars Arunodhay Singh, Asha Sharath, Allu Sirish, Renji Panicker and Sudheer Karamana, among many others. It is set to release on 7 April.
