Shah Rukh Khan, the chef? Bring it on, we say! No, we are not kidding. SRK has shared that he is learning to cook Italian and wants to open a restaurant.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, SRK has talked about how he is setting up a kitchen in his house and bonding with his children over food and movies.

Here are some highlights:

I want to open a restaurant. I want to cook Italian food. I’m like (boxer) Jake LaMotta. When he became fat, he started a restaurant where he used to cook Italian food and serve people. I want to be like that. When I become fat, I want to open a restaurant near Juhu or somewhere, and serve people. I really love cooking. I’ve never had the time to do it. My father and mother used to cook. I’ve started learning how to cook Italian food. I think I’ll look very sexy in just an apron. Of course, most of the guests will run away if I’m only wearing an apron (laughs), but I want to serve people.

Someone coin a word for the female version of bromance already. Adele and Beyonce might have been pitted against each other in the big three categories at the Grammys this year, but their love and respect for each other is inspiring for women across the world.

Though it’s hard not to be reminded of Kanye West’s stunt at MTV Music Awards, where he snatched the mic from Taylor Swift, while she was in the middle of her acceptance speech, and turned everyone’s attention to how much more deserving he thought Beyonce was. Well this time around, Adele didn’t need a Kanye to do that.

But the 59th Grammy Awards saw the emotional side of Adele and Beyonce, like never before. Not only were their performances powerful, their words and body language on stage spoke louder than those who only compare the two.

Tabla wizard Sandeep Das has just done India proud. He, along with his group the Silk Road Ensemble has won the Grammy for Best Global Music at the Grammy awards in LA held on Sunday night.

Exultant and yet saddened Sandeep spoke to me right after the victory.

I am very proud of the Grammy because I’m representing India on a global platform. This was my third Grammy nomination, and we did it this time. So, yes, it feels good. I was also very happy because I was the only one on stage wearing our tradition Indian kurta-pajama ensemble. Everyone else wore suits.
