Hold your horses you crazy Indiana Jones fans, because Disney just announced that Steven Spielberg and Harrison for will reunite to make the fifth epic adventure Indiana Jones blockbuster. The movie will be ready for screening on 19 July 2019.
Steven Spielberg, who directed all four previous films, will helm the as-yet-untitled project with star Harrison Ford reprising his iconic role. Franchise veterans Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall will produce.Disney Statement
Everyone is excited for Indiana Jones, the horses, the whip, the adventure, the adrenaline, the series just doesn’t stop giving. Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn called Jones’ character:
One of the greatest heroes in cinematic history.

The first Indian Jones film debuted in 1981 as Raiders of the Los Ark and the last one released in 2008 titled Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
This movie will be the fifth instalment focusing on a big-budget franchise film attracting huge audiences and making big buck. The four previous films in the series have brought in nearly $2 billion in the worldwide box office.
The previous movie in the Jones series are:
- Raiders of the Los Ark (1981)
- Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)
- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
So keep your hats ready and put on your boots, because it will soon be adventure time with Dr. Jones.
