2. Here’s Why Aditya Chopra Is Smitten By ‘Befikre’ Ranveer & Vaani

Befikre director Aditya Chopra might be feeling nervous about his second debut, but he’s in love with his actors Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor. The reclusive filmmaker has been sharing his thoughts about this new-age love story via open letters and he seems to be smitten by the talented newcomers. Jo apne actors se kare itna pyaar, woh tareef karne se kaise kare inkaar?

While he feels that there would be no Befikre without Ranveer Singh, he also says that even though he was initially worried about Vaani playing the female lead, she has now become the film’s strongest aspect.

It’s heartening to see this kind of admiration for newbies in Bollywood, but the final verdict will only be out on 9 December.

3. Koffee With Karan: Sohail-Salman Crack a Funny at Rakhi’s Expense

The next episode of the wildly popular TV series Koffee with Karan is much anticipated, with the guests being the Khan brothers – Salman, Sohail and Arbaaz.

Going by the teaser video published on Facebook, we can expect the show to be a laughter riot.

For starters, it seems like host Karan Johar has not forgotten the 'I'm still a virgin' comment that Salman Khan made the last time he came on the show. Probing once again, Johar gets the same answer from Salman, albeit with a nifty little addition.

"Nothing has changed. So are you!"

4. Thank God SRK Didn’t Make It to the Climax of ‘Dear Zindagi’

Did you wonder why Shah Rukh Khan was not a part of the climax scene in Dear Zindagi?

In a recent interview, SRK revealed that he was supposed to be a part of the final scene where Alia Bhatt is screening her film in the presence of all her family and exes. But the team removed it due to the time limit.

He also added that he does not interfere with the creative aspects of filmmaking. And does not feel bad about it either because they did the right thing.

Strictly speaking in terms of the narrative, the finality of the crucial scene where SRK bids adieu to Alia seems like the right place for their relationship to end.

Had SRK been a part of the climax, it would be highly inappropriate and filmy. So whatever might be the reason for it, we’re glad the makers decided against having SRK in the climax.

5. Deepika Dons Rajasthani Lehenga in Padmavati’s Song Ghoomar

After the success of Bajirao Mastani, veteran Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is now busy shooting for his next signature grandiloquent period drama - Padmavati.

Some interesting details have cropped up about the lead actor Deepika Padukone's Ghoomar dance sequence in the film. The versatile actor had reportedly donned traditional Rajasthani attire for the sequence, and had been working hard to perfect the moves. The shooting for the sequence was wrapped up only recently.

One of the costume designers for the film spoke to BollywoodLife in detail regarding the sequence:

The Ghoomar dance has come out to be really very well. Just recently we have completely the sequence. What Deepika will be wearing is a typical Rajasthani ghoomar and we have taken into consideration the typical colours like the reds and yellows for the outfit. And of course, we have added our own touch to it. We are being very careful with the colours, the fabrics and everything else because people observe everything closely. So even now, we are reading story books, visiting museums and doing our research on the outfits of those times.
Rimple Narula, Costume Designer for Padmavati

The film, which is slated for release in November next year, would also be starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.

With a high-profile cast, and news about the fancy dance number, we can hardly wait for next November to come!
