Yes, a Sequel to Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ Is Happening

‘Kabali’ will return.

As the open ended climax to Rajinikanth’s latest release Kabali suggested, a sequel to the film is definitely on cards. According to reports, the success of the gangster drama has firmed up the filmmaker’s intention of bringing out a part two.

Kabali’s producer Kalaippuli S Thanu has said that he is interested in bringing on director Pa Ranjith for a second innings on the same character. Also, apparently at the film’s success party recently, the director himself confirmed that he wants to make a sequel to Kabali. Now all that remains to be seen is if (and that’s a big IF) Rajinikanth is game for a second part. We’ll just have to wait and watch for the superstar’s nod on this one.
