1. Shah Rukh Khan’s Intolerance Remark is Back to Haunt him
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) members on Feb 3rd protested against the ongoing shooting of Shah Rukh Khan’s film Raees in Gujarat’s Bhuj district, for his earlier remarks on “intolerance”. Around 20-30 VHP activists had yesterday handed over a memorandum to district officers and demanded withdrawal of the permission given for the shooting of the film. They also protested outside the District Collector’s office pressing for the same demand. They shouted slogans against the actor and also burnt and tore his posters.

2. Meet Arjun, Rahul Kapoor and Tia in Kapoor & Sons
A couple of posters of Dharma Productions’ Kapoor & Sons are out and they look super fun with a lot of props and the stars of course. And what appears from the posters and the tweets is that Arjun and Rahul played by Sidharth and Fawad are brothers and Tia played by Alia Bhatt is the girl next door. So is this just another love triangle? The film is scheduled to hit theatres on 18th March.
3. Arjun-Shraddha Starrer Half-Girlfriend to be Delayed?
Half Girlfriend has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Earlier, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon had been finalised for the film, which was slated for a 2016 summer release. Sadly, both opted out of the project due to different issues. Then Shahid Kapoor’s name did the rounds, but nothing materialised. Finally, the makers signed Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor for the lead roles. Phew! Too much drama. But it doesn’t end there. Now rumour has it that this Mohit Suri film is not going on floors by the month-end as planned. The dates have been pushed back by nearly three months because of some date issues from Arjun and Shraddha.
4. Awww! Emraan Hashmi’s Son Turns 6
Emraan Hashmi’s son Ayaan has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs as daddy can’t stop sharing his six-year-olds pics on social media. Now, that’s super cute as we know how private Emraan is. Ayaan who turned 6 on February 3rd surely has the style quotient of a star.
5. Good News! Kapil Sharma and Family Will Be Back Soon
It was heartbreaking when Comedy Nights With Kapil bid adieu on January 24 this year. Then Comedy Night LIVE made us miss Kapil and his family even more. But we can all stop sulking now because here’s the good news. Bittoo Sharma and his parivar will be back soon and our life will be back on track again. While Kapil Sharma has not yet given any official statement yet, Sunil Grover aka Gutthi gave us a hint on Twitter. And sources close to Kapil told us that their new show will be up on Sony soon. Yay!
This was enough to give us hope. Can’t wait to have them back!
