Salman Khan put his talent as a painter to some good use while filming Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. While the team was put up in a hotel during the shoot, the actor preferred to stay at a heritage property near Rajkot in Gujarat, where the film was being shot. What’s more, Salman recreated his room to his taste by painting the walls. News is that the owners of the haveli, decided to retain the walls with Salman’s paintings on them after the shooting was completed. No doubt, they’ve got an added attraction for visitors at the heritage property now.

2. Proud Dad Aamir Buys Daughter Ira’s Sketch

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira held her debut art exhibition recently and her proud papa purchased one of her paintings titled The Tiger’s Nest, which is a beautifully done work of art in black and white. The actor bought the artwork and proudly shared it on Twitter.

4. Spectre Movie Review by The Hollywood Reporter

James Bond’s latest film Spectre released in the UK. The much awaited Bond action thriller directed by Sam Mendes (who also directed Skyfall) stars Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz and Monica Bellucci. Spectre’s review by The Hollywood Reporter, says that this is the most expensive Bond movie till date with a budget rumoured to be well north of $250 million and at 148 minutes, it’s also the longest Bond film. It goes on to say :

Spectre contains enough dazzle and derring-do to keep the Bond brand afloat, but not enough to make it a game-changing reboot in the manner of Skyfall. Two steps forward, one step back.

5. News for Sherlock Fans

Here’s some exciting news for fans of the popular TV series Sherlock.

BBC One’s television series starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman takes place in present-day England. The 90-minute special, “The Abominable Bride,” brings the characters back in time to 1890s London, the original setting of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock tales. It will stand apart from Season 4, which is scheduled to start production this spring, according to BBC One. Also, for the first time the special will air on the same day (January 1) in the United States (on “Masterpiece Mystery” on PBS, 9 pm ET) and the United Kingdom (BBC One).
