Romanian model, actress, TV host and Salman Khan’s close friend Iulia Vantur hosts the Romanian version of the reality show – The Farm. The show is very popular and that’s perhaps why Salman has obtained the India rights of the program. 2. Asin and Rahul Sharma Get Hitched!
Actress Asin finally got hitched to Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma after twin ceremonies on Tuesday. The couple had a Christian wedding in the morning and did pheras as per Hindu rituals in the evening in New Delhi. Akshay Kumar who is apparently the matchmaker was also the best man at the wedding.
3. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Wife Files Counter FIR
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui was spotted at the Versova Police Station in Mumbai on Monday. The actor was recording his statement after a woman called Hina Shaikh filed an FIR against him, alleging that he physically assaulted her over a parking dispute in their apartment. The latest development is that Nawazuddin’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui has now filed a counter FIR against residents Soni Dandekar, Khaleel (who apparently accompanied Hina) and a few other unidentified people citing multiple offences. It states that Khaleel and others barged into their house when the altercation happened.
4. John Shares the Poster of His New Film Rocky Handsome
John Abraham, who will next be seen in Nishikant Kamat’s Rocky Handsome, shared another poster of the movie, also featuring his little co-star Diya. The makers are running a publicity campaign on Twitter, inviting people to grab the opportunity to get a poster of the film signed by John himself. Rocky Handsome which stars Shruti Haasan and Nathalia Kaur apart from John, opens on March 25. This is the second collaboration between John and Kamat after the 2011 hit, Force.
5. This is Why Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee Are Boycotting the Oscars
Since the Oscar nominations have been announced, a lot of disappointment has been shown over the lack of diversity. Actors have been using #Oscarssowhite hashtag on Twitter to ask if ‘people of colour’ should avoid this year’s ceremony to protest against a “white only” list of Academy Award nominees. Jada Pinkett Smith has decided to boycott this year’s Oscars over the issue. She even posted a video on her Facebook page about it. This is the Oscars’ second straight year of all-white acting nominees. Jada Pinkett Smith is not alone as producer-director Spike Lee too in a lengthy Instagram post, said he “cannot support” the “lily white” Oscars this year.
