Shah Rukh, who is currently shooting for a song in Iceland for his upcoming film Dilwale, took to Twitter to wish the new actors for their first film. Athiya is the daughter of actor Suniel and Mana Shetty, while Sooraj is the son of actor Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab.

While many trolled Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan on social media when he saw Katti Batti and came out of the theatre with tears in his eyes, actress Kangana Ranaut said that the forthcoming romantic thriller has such intensity that it even made her cry every night when she was filming for it.
“For an actor, playing such a character can be very overwhelming and if you are young, it can give some staggering impressions on your mind. I remember after I used to finish shoot, I would just cry every night. When my mother came over, I cried with her too thinking about so many things. So, definitely this is the most intense character I’ve ever played in a film,” Kangana told IANS. She plays the role of Payal in the film.
The Queen actress also said that like Aamir, people are having extreme reactions to the film.
“Like Aamir, people are having extreme reactions. They are jumping the gun because the marketing of the film has been such. Katti Batti looks like a rom-com, but it’s not (that) at all. When people are going to come and see the film they are going to witness a larger than life story. The intensity of characters in the film is exceptional,” she added.
Directed by Nikhil Advani, Katti Batti, which also stars Imran Khan, is based on new-age relationships. It starts like a romantic comedy but gradually turns into a thriller with a mystery element and a mature love story.
3. Actor Portraying Hafiz Saeed in Saif Ali Khan Starrer Phantom Kept Underground
Actor Shahnawaz Pradhan, who portrays the 26/11 Mumbai attacks’ mastermind Hafiz Saeed in the film Phantom, is being kept underground for security reasons. Phantom, which also features actors Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif, has been banned in Pakistan reportedly by the Lahore high court after a petition was filed by Saeed. Therefore the makers of the film have taken precautionary measures, keeping the actor who is portraying Saeed underground.
“The security of all our actors is extremely important for us and now that his identity is revealed, there are precautionary measures being taken,” the spokesperson of the film said in a statement.

Actor Akshay Kumar, who is currently gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film Singh Is Bliing, says he is proud that his wife Twinkle Khanna’s first book, Mrs Funnybones: She’s Just Like You and a Lot Like Me, has achieved the number one spot within a week. Twinkle launched the book on August 18 at a glitzy event in Mumbai. The Brothers actor took to Twitter to share his happiness.

Actor John Abraham has squashed rumours of his divorce with wife Priya Runchal, saying everything is beautiful in his paradise. Gossip mills have been abuzz with reports that things are not going well between the newly married couple. Priya and John have reportedly been living separately for a couple of months. Priya is in US pursuing her higher studies while the actor is in Mumbai for his films. Apparently, both of them are finding it difficult to handle their long-distance relationship.
“All is superb in paradise... to set the record straight. It is not true. You believe all that crap. I just feel bad when people put out things. All is beautiful in (my) paradise,” John told PTI. “I was doing a comedy film but I did not know that comedy was happening outside my life...just put all these rumours to rest...there is nothing happening. It is all superb,” he added.
The couple got married during New Year’s Eve of 2013 while vacationing in the US. The 42 year old Madras Cafe star then took to Twitter to wish his fans a very Happy New Year and subtly announced that he had tied the knot with his girlfriend, by introducing his new wife as Priya Abraham.
