1. Are Kajol and Manish Malhotra Having a Tiff?
Kajol and designer Manish Malhotra are apparently having a bit of a tiff. The buzz is that the actress had been interfering with Manish’s work during the filming of Dilwale, because of which he decided to divert his attention to Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and sent his assistants to work with Kajol. Of course, Kajol wasn’t happy about this. It is also reported that Kajol was trying to incorporate her own ideas into the Dilwale look and Manish was seriously pissed off about it. 2. Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor Are Hanging Out Together in London
Both Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are currently shooting in London for their respective films Baar Baar Dekho and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. While Kat took some time off from work to meet Ranbir on his birthday, the couple were also seen hanging out at a mall in the city. That’s where they bumped into Pakistani actress Ayesha Khan, who posted these pics with the stars on Twitter. But the love birds were clever enough to not pose together in the same picture.
3. Arjun Kapoor Meets Malala Yousufzai
Actor Arjun Kapoor met Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousufzai at the Global Citizen Festival that was held in New York City. He shared a picture with the human rights crusader on Twitter, saying that she’s the only one he’s ever had to ask to be photographed with. Arjun Kapoor was the India’s ambassador to the festival. The actor seemed completely in awe of Malala and everything that she has accomplished.
4. Dibakar Banerjee Launches Titli Trailer for Indian Audiences
Check out the trailer of Titli, a Bollywood drama written and directed by debutant Kanu Behl. The film has been co-produced by Dibakar Banerjee Productions, along with Yash Raj Films.
In the badlands of Delhi’s underbelly, Titli, the youngest member of a violent car-jacking brotherhood plots a desperate bid to escape the ‘family’ business. His struggle to do so is countered at each stage by his indignant brothers, who finally try marrying him off to ‘settle’ him. Titli, finds an unlikely ally in his new wife, caught though she is in her own web of warped reality and dysfunctional dreams. They form a strange, beneficial partnership, only to confront their inability to escape the bindings of their family roots.
The film looks interesting and features actors Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial, Shashank Arora, Lalit Behl and Shivani Raghuvanshi in the lead roles. It is slated for commercial release in India on October 30th, 2015. Dibakar Banerjee had earlier presented the trailer to a group of people in India, but it did not hit the right note with them. He then decided to come up with a new trailer meant for the Indian audiences.
5. Asha Bhosle’s Son Loses Battle With Cancer
As the nation celebrated Lata Mangeshkar’s 86th birthday, her sister Asha Bhosle, lost her eldest son to cancer. Hemant Bhosle, 66, was a music composer and had been residing in Scotland for the last five years. The family was informed of the tragedy on Sunday. Asha who was returning from Singapore after an event headed to Lata’s home to share her grief. The mother-son duo had fallen out after his divorce. Asha Bhosle had previously lost her daughter in a tragic manner in 2012.
6. Paul Walker’s Daughter Slams Porsche With a Lawsuit
The Fast and the Furious actor Paul Walker lost his life in a tragic car crash in November 2013. He was in a Porsche Carrera GT that was being driven by his friend Roger Rodas. Now Paul’s 16 year old daughter has filed a lawsuit against the automobile giant claiming that the actual cause for her father’s death was the explosion that took place a minute after the crash. The lawsuit also claims that Paul’s seat belt snapped his torso back with thousands of pounds of force, thereby breaking his ribs and pelvis, trapping him in the passenger seat. The suit alleges that the fire broke out 1 minute and 20 seconds after impact and that till then, he was alive.
While the lawsuit does not put a figure on damages, it does state that the Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car that doesn’t belong on the street, and that Paul Walker (and his friend Roger Rodas) should not have had to pay with their lives.
