Porn star Mia Khalifa may heat up things on the new season of Bigg Boss. But her possible participation just got mileage with the hacking of her Instagram account. According to an India.com report, a Saudi national may have hacked Khalifa’s Instagram account as a Saudi flag playing their national anthem and an Islamic symbol has been posted on her Instagram account.
Meanwhile, Khalifa took to Twitter to share her disappointment over the hacking issue.
Mia has created another Instagram account. Her last account had over 2.2 million followers.
The news of Mia’s possible entry into the reality show created a buzz on social media. We just hope it doesn’t get the people behind the short lived porn ban working overtime to ban Mia’s Bigg Boss candidature.
Though any official word on season 9 inmates is yet to come from the channel Colors, rumours about the Lebanese American adult film actress and model being approached for the gig are spreading like wildfire. If this is true, Khalifa will be the second porn star to join the show, after Sunny Leone in season 5.
The motive behind this particular piece of casting is to no doubt achieve maximum mileage out of Khalifa’s controversy-ridden career. Not only is Khalifa the most searched-for figure on the pornography website Pornhub, she has also received death threats from conservative forces in the Middle East for sporting a hijab in one of her adult videos. Mia also came under fire for having the opening line of Lebanon’s national anthem and the Lebanese Forces Cross tattooed on her wrist.
One can accuse Bigg Boss of many, many things, but insipid casting is clearly not one them.
