1. SRK Deserved an Oscar for ‘My Name Is Khan’: Paulo Coelho
Brazilian author Paulo Coelho believes superstar Shah Rukh Khan deserved an Academy Award for his performance in the film My Name is Khan, if Hollywood fraternity was not biased!
The 69-year-old novelist took to Twitter to congratulate the the actor on the seventh anniversary of the film.
The Alchemist author also posted a screenshot from his Facebook page, where he wrote that the 2008 movie was the only time he had watched any of Shah Rukh’s acts.
Shah Rukh too tweeted saying that it was sad that such films are “still relevant” and was grateful to the cast and crew for giving him such a great film. He also thanked Paulo for his words of appreciation.

2. ‘Rangoon’ Kangana Ranaut’s Bloody Hell Night
Kangana Ranaut promoted the popular song, Bloody Hell Night from her film, Rangoon. The actress who plays ‘Fearless Nadia’ on the screen went all out when she dressed up as a hunter and played with her lash.

3. Hotel Mumbai First Look: Dev Patel’s Next Is Based On 26/11 Attack
Indian origin British actor Dev Patel, who is earning applauds for his critically-acclaimed film Lion is already shooting for his next film, Hotel Mumbai which is based on 26/11 terror attacks on the west coast metropolis.
Arclight Films released the first look of Dev Patel, who, it appears is playing the role of a Sikh in the film.
Aside from Patel, who is also the executive producer of the film, the cast includes Armie Hammer, Anupam Kher (Bend it Like Beckham, Silver Linings Playbook), Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter) and Nazanin Boniadi (Homeland, Iron-Man).
The film is helmed by Australian director Anthony Maras.
4. Tone of ‘Ghazi’ Was Always Meant to Be Right: Rana Daggubati
Telugu filmmaker Sankalp Reddy’s The Ghazi Attack starring Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu and Kay Kay Menon is being touted as India’s first war-at-sea film. Originally shot in Telugu and later in Hindi, this film is inspired by a classified mission conducted by the Indian Navy against their Pakistani counterpart in 1971.
