The first song from Marjaavaan has released and it touches upon the painful separation of Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria. Sung by Jubin Nautiyal, the romantic track shows a grief-stricken Raghu (Sidharth) in a jail reminiscing about his memories with Zoya (Tara). The song has been composed by Payal Dev.

Through the song, Raghu and Zoya’s love story unfolds as it begins with the first chance encounter of the two. The visuals then move to the unfortunate end of their love story as he is forced to shoot her. Tara plays the character of a mute girl, who falls in love with Raghu and marries him.

Take a look:

Marjaavaan has marks the second collaboration between Sidharth and Riteish after Ek Villain, whose dialogues were also written by Zaveri. The opening of the trailer introduced us to Sidharth Malhotra who is fond of filmy dialogues and serves gravity-defying justice. He pauses just long enough to play a round of charades and fall in love with a mute Tara Sutaria. All is rosy till a pint-sized Riteish Deshmukh arrives on the scene humming ‘Teri Galliyan’ from Ek Villain and appears to be bent on ruining Sidharth’s love life in this film too.

Marjaavaan has been written and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri and bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Krishan Kumar along with Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikhil Advani. It releases in theatres on 8 November.
