The trippy Kaavaan Kaavaan makes a comeback with Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film Lucknow Central, and we must confess - we love this rendition as much as its Monsoon Wedding avatar.
Composed by Arjunna Harjaie and sung by Divya Kumar - an excellent decision to not have Farhan Akhtar lend his voice to the number - this version of Kaavaan Kaavaan is as groovy as it gets. Concentrating more and on faster beats - notice how the dhols work their magic with the mouth and body percussion - Kaavaan Kaavaan rises above its folk roots to become an energetic dance number here.
