Fukrey Returns, the sequel to the very popular Fukrey, brings back the iconic song O Meri Mehbooba from Manmohan Desai's 1977 fantasy-adventure, Dharam Veer. While the original had Dharmendra and Zeenat Aman keeping time to the beat, the new rendition takes Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh to the disco.

Shot in a dance club, O Meri Mehbooba comes armed with peppy beats, rap, English lyrics in chorus, et al, even as the boys show off their best moves on the dance floor. The song has been composed by Prem and Hardeep and sung by Neha Kakkar and Yasser Desai.

The original number, with its folksy touch, was composed by Lamikant-Pyarelal and sung by Mohammed Rafi. It was shot in the hills with Dharmendra trying hard to woo a furious Zeenant Aman.
