One of India’s biggest annual music festivals, Sunburn Festival 2017 has been kicked off in Pune today. The eleventh edition of the festival is taking place in Pimpri-Chinchwad and will go on till the night of 31 December.
The line-up features Grammy-nominated artist DJ Snake, who has previously produced for Lady Gaga. His singles 'Middle' and Let Me Love You' are all the rage with millennials. There’s also DJ Snake, who can be expected to belt out hits like 'Lean On' and 'Turn Down For What'.
Clean Bandit, Belgian DJs Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Nucleya, Afrojack, KSHMR and many more are expected to perform through the weekend.
The festival has been kicked off successfully despite the efforts of Shiv Sena worker Jaideep Padwal, who had moved court seeking to restrain the organisers from holding the event in Pune district. The city civil court has however, rejected the plea.
