As Mohanlal turns 58, his fans are looking forward to the superstar’s next big release, the action thriller titled Neerali, directed by newcomer Ajoy Varma. The makers have just released the trailer of the Mohanlal film and what we can make out from from the first trailer is that Lalettan plays a loveable guy called Sunny George who gets into a situation that he literally cannot get out of.

Mohanlal had shared the first look of Neerali back in January, while he was shooting for the film in Mumbai.
Neerali is AJoy Varma’s first Malayalam film and he’s been credited to have worked on a few Bollywood films before as an editor and directed the films titled SRK and Dus Tola. Mohanlal fans will also reportedly be treated to a song by the superstar in Neerali. Lal is known for his singing skills as well, the last song that Mohanlal sang - Aattumanal Paayayil for the film Run Baby Run had topped the charts for quite a while.
Mohanlal began his birthday month by revealing the teaser of Neerali on 3 May.
Besides Mohanlal, Neerali also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Parvati Nair and Nadiya Moidu, who had paired up with Mohanlal 30 years ago in the superhit film Nokkatha Doorathe Kannum Nattu.
Shot across Mumbai, Pune and Sri Lanka, Neerali is scheduled to release on 14 June.
