‘Kedarnath’ Teaser: Sara and Sushant on a Journey of Love

The much-awaited teaser of Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan, has been released. The film marks the Bollywood debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan.

Kedarnath is a love story set against the backdrop of the floods that wrecked the temple town and left thousands dead in June 2013. Shot along a 14-km pilgrimage from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath - the 2,000-year-old temple of Lord Shiva - the film plays out the relationship between Mansoor and Mukku played by Sushant and Sara respectively. Dilip Kumar Doing Well: Family Friend Faisal Farooqui

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar is "doing well", his close family has said amid rumours that the 95-year-old's condition is deteriorating.

Faisal Farooqui, a family friend of the actor, refuted media reports claiming that Dilip Kumar is now unable to take food, medicine and even water through his mouth. "I want to assure to all the millions of people who love Saab and admire his work, that Dilip Kumar is doing well. There is no need to panic... Such unfounded fake news creates panic and anxiety in the minds of millions of Dilip Kumar fans and well-wishers," said Farooqui in an interview with IANS.

He urged fans to follow the official Dilip Kumar Twitter handle for health updates on the actor.

Earlier this month, Dilip Kumar was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital for treatment for recurrent pneumonia.

Sanjay Dutt to Produce His First Marathi Venture

After backing the Hindi remake of the Telugu film "Prasthanam", actor Sanjay Dutt will now make his debut into Marathi cinema as a producer.

His production banner, Sanjay Dutt's Productions, will produce the yet untitled Marathi film.

Sanjay tweeted on Tuesday: "Ecstatic to announce Sanjay Dutt Productions' first venture into Marathi films alongside Blue Mustang, yet untitled."

Being directed by Rajat Gupta, the film stars actors like Deepak Dobriyal, Nandita Dhuri and Abhijeet Khandkekar.

Pharrell Williams Asks Trump Not to Play 'Happy'

Singer Pharrell Williams has warned US President Donald Trump against playing his "Happy" song, after it was used at a rally just hours after the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting.

Williams' attorney Howard E. King sent a cease-and-desist letter to Trump on Monday after "Happy" was played at his Saturday rally in Murphysboro in Illinois, reports variety.com.

"On the day of the mass murder of 11 human beings at the hands of a deranged ‘nationalist', you played his song ‘Happy' to a crowd at a political event in Indiana," King said in the letter.

"There was nothing ‘happy' about the tragedy inflicted upon our country... and no permission was granted for your use of the song...," he added.

Eleven people from the age group of 54 to 97 were gunned down on October 28 at the Tree of Life synagogue, where three separate congregations were holding services, reports IANS.

Veteran Marathi Composer Yeshwant Deo Dies

Veteran Marathi singer, lyricist and music composer Yeshwant Deo passed away after a brief illness here on Tuesday, family sources said. He was 91.

Deo breathed his last at the Sushrusha Hospital in Dadar where he was admitted for treatment of pneumonia and other complications almost three weeks ago.

His last rites shall be performed at the Dadar Crematorium here later on Tuesday.

Born on November 1, 1926, Deo trained in music under his father and became a well-known figure in the Marathi film industry and music circles, reports IANS.
