1. Sona Mohapatra Calls Out Kailash Kher For Repeated Harassment
Singer Sona Mohapatra has accused Kailash Kher of behaving inappropriately with her on multiple occasions. In the first of a series of tweets, she describes an incident where the ‘Allah ke Bande’ singer put his hand on her thigh saying, “lines like, your (sic) so beautiful, feel so good that a ‘musician got you’ [her partner composer Ram Sampath] not an actor.”
The alleged harassment didn’t stop there. According to Mohapatra, when the two were both in Dhaka for a performance, Kher reportedly kept trying to get in touch with her. “When I don’t pick up, [he] calls the organisers (sic) phone to get through to me & asks me to ‘skip’ the soundcheck & join him in his room instead to ‘catch up’,” she tweeted.

2. Vikas Bahl Accuses Kashyap of Defamation; Issued Notice by IFTDA
Filmmaker Vikas Bahl has been issued a show cause notice by the Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA). He has been accused of sexual assault by a former employee of Phantom Films.
“The charges against you were confirmed by your own partners, which led to the dissolution of Phantom Films,” the notice reads. It goes on to state that Bahl has a week to prove why his membership to the association should not be terminated. In the event of his failure to do so, action would be taken “as per rules and regulations”.
Bahl has also come out to call his former partners Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane as opportunists for using the allegations to defame him.

3. Sandhya Mridul Describes An Ordeal Where Alok Nath Tried To Force Himself On Her
Sandhya Mridul took to Twitter to stand in solidarity with TV producer Vinta Nanda’s account where she has alleged Alok Nath raped her. She also gave a detailed account where Alok tried to force himself on her during an outdoor shoot at the beginning of her career.

4. Meet Kaleen Bhaiyya in Amazon Prime’s New ‘Mirzapur’ Teaser
Amazon Prime Video and Excel Media & Entertainment have released a teaser for upcoming Prime Original Series, Mirzapur. It introduces us to gangster and arms dealer Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), aka the ‘King of Mirzapur’. As the camera pans across a warehouse, where carpets innocuously conceal weapons and bodies, he ominously declares, “Iss vyapar mein tum hamare saath ho, ya hamare khilaf. (In this business, you are either with us or against us.)”.
The series also stars Ali Fazal and Vikrant Massey.
