Katrina Kaif has been declared as the next recipient of the Smita Patil Memorial Award for her contribution to Indian cinema. While the actress’s performance in her latest film Baar Baar Dekho has been appreciated, her nomination for the award - named after one of India’s greatest actresses - has come as a surprise to all.
