Ek Tha Tiger’s Sequel Is Perfect for Salman and Me to Do: Katrina

Katrina also addressed rumours about Salman’s character aging in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

Katrina Kaif is all set to return to the silver screen to star alongside Salman Khan in what will be a first sequel for the duo in Tiger Zinda Hai.

After seeing Salman and Katrina sizzle on screen in blockbuster hit, Ek Tha Tiger (ETT) we will have the actors come together after four years. The film titled Tiger Zinda Hai is set to release on Christmas next year.

In an interview with DNA, Katrina opened up about how she feels working with Salman after all this time.

It is going to be great for Salman and me to work together in Tiger Zinda Hai. And I’m really happy we are coming back with this movie. The sequel is possibly the perfect film for both Salman and me to do together now. We were the most comfortable on the sets of ETT, as Tiger and Zoya. I think it worked well for us. It’s going to be interesting to be back on sets together.

Katrina also talked about how Salman makes her strive to work harder and never be complacent.

As an actor, he reminds me to never get complacent while working. To a person who watches his films - the bigger and more successful he gets, the harder he’s working and the better he’s getting at acting.

The Baar Baar Dekho actress refuted rumours about Salman’s character aging in Tiger Zinda Hai.

That’s entirely wrong. He does not age at all. The film is set in today’s times. It’s set in one time period. There’s no aage-peeche at all. It’s a sequel in the correct sense of the term. It begins exactly from where we left off in ETT.
