While rumours of Parineeti Chopra starring in Dabangg 3 opposite Salman Khan have been doing the rounds, the actress is clueless about it. Earlier reports suggested that Arbaaz Khan was to cast Parineeti for the role of Rajjo which has been played by Sonakshi Sinha in Dabangg and Dabangg 2.

This is news to me also. I read about it last night. In fact, I got a few messages from my team as well asking what’s going on. But I was as clueless as them. That film is in its scripting stage but if that film happens, I would love to do it.

Parineeti will next be seen in Akshay Roy’s Meri Pyaari Bindu opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.

5. B-Town Filmmakers Loved Madaari

Irrfan Khan’s Madaari is to hit theatres on Friday and the makers held a special screening in the city. The film got a thumbs up from B-town’s other filmmakers and they said some pretty interesting things about it. Take a look at what they thought of the film:

I thought it was absolutely fantastic, it’s a film that should have been made sooner or later. It’s extremely poignant and I think, fortunately, [one] can expect anything from Irrfan because he is the best so that is a different story. It’s a beautiful movie, very poignant movie with a solid message.
Homi Adajania, Filmmaker
I think it is a very relevant film which every Indian should watch. Lot of truth is being spoken in a very bold manner. It is very honestly written, very powerfully done, it really catches you and everything is very good.
Imtiaz Ali, Filmmaker
It is a great story and has a very emotionally effective climax. Bahut sundar.
Sudhir Mishra, Filmmaker
I was very moved and the film is very timed film. I think this film raises questions and also tries to find the answers. Advice to people: Desh so raha hai, jaagne ka samay aagaya hai. Madaari aapko jaga degi.
Hansal Mehta, Filmmaker
