Judi Dench To Play Queen Victoria in an Upcoming Book Adaptation

The film will be about Queen Victoria’s relationship with her trusted aide Abdul Karim in the late 1800s.

She is the grande dame of Hollywood. And now Judy Dench is all set to play Queen Victoria in a film based on the book Victoria & Abdul: The True Story of the Queen’s Closest Confidant by Shrabani Basu.

According to Huffington Post, Dench will play the English Queen in the film which would explore her relationship with her trusted aide Abdul Karim in the late 1800s.
