Jimi’s Back and How! Never-Heard-Before Album to be Released on Mar 24

Jimi Hendrix’s never heard before, yes never before, tracks recorded in 1965-66 will be released on March 24. Here’s ‘Station Break’.

Here’s a golden opportunity for today’s 20 somethings’ who never got to experience Hendrix’s personal brand of magic first hand.

Unfortunately, it’s not a concert but it’s the next best thing. A collection of 14 tracks which include never-heard-before compositions from the master himself will be released on March 24.

Experience Hendrix LLC, now run by the Hendrix family got together with Legacy Recordings and is set to release the album titled You Can’t Use My Name: Curtis Knight & The Squires (Featuring Jimi Hendrix) The RSVP/PPX Sessions.

The fourteen-track collection consists of recordings from sessions in 1965-66.

According to Experience Hendrix ‘You Can’t Use My Name’ kicks off with ‘How Would You Feel’, a 1966 single based in part on Bob Dylan’s ‘Like a Rolling Stone. along with its b-side ‘Welcome Home’. Also included is the instrumental ‘Hornet’s Nest’ and its b-side ‘Knock Yourself Out’ .
