Art imitates life in more ways than one. The Oberoi brothers are a trio you might be familiar with, if you’ve been a fan of big business families and the surrounding drama around their high stakes life. But we’re keeping our lips tightly sealed.
What’s different is that Ishqbaaaz is a going to give you life goals like you’ve haven’t had before. Never has the story of three brothers been portrayed with more truth, sensitivity and wholesomeness, artfully chalking out the greys in each character. It’s a bromance story like no other.
Quite a change from the usual kitchen politics we’d say. The drama now belongs in the boardroom. Take a look and see how the Oberois are a family worth reckoning with.
But like they say there’s always a twist in the tale. Ishqbaaaz promises high octane schemers and plot thickeners. Interestingly enough each of the Oberoi siblings has their own set of life mantras and goals.
Meet Shivaay Oberoi, boardroom shark who is not one to mess with when it comes to business. Not given to sentiment, the only time he’d probably let emotion get the better of him was if it had anything to do with his bros.
On the other side of the family spectrum is Rudra Oberoi who is the baby of the family. Life is one big party and he’s always front and centre stage. Carpe diem is his motto, which is, today is to live for because who knows what tomorrow might bring. Quite the apple of his brothers’ eyes and a hit with the ladies, Rudra is every bit the life of the party.
Omkara Oberoi may remind you of a certain long haired artist who has romantic aspirations but looks can be deceptive. Omkara’s creativity rests in his art alone and not in life. In fact, he’s quite the cynic. Do we smell a case of heartbreak here? You’ll have to watch Ishqbaaaz which airs on STAR Plus on 27th June at 10 PM to find out.
As different as they are in their ideologies and temperament, one thing’s for certain, the Oberois prove that blood is thicker than water. But will this fairy-tale last? That is the question. For now though the brothers do what brothers do best. Fight to stay tight!
