Anjali Ameer has indeed come a long way. From running away from her orthodox home at the age of 16 to becoming a successful transgender model and now making her film debut with superstar Mammootty, Anjali’s life is stuff movies are made on. She will be seen in the bilingual film Peranbu as one of the female leads and would star alongside Mammootty.

It has of course not been an easy journey for Anjali Ameer. She dabbled at various professions till she could pay for her sex change operation.
