A Telugu actor, whose semi-nude protests against sexual harassment in the film industry made headlines a few days back, is ready to take it to the next level. The actor has now shared some intimate photographs of herself with a leading Telugu producer’s son - who’s also a popular star’s brother - and has accused him of raping her.
According to Times of India, the actor says that the producer’s son has taken her and others like her for a ride.
“He would often tell me that he would introduce me to big directors and producers. As an actor looking for work, I went along with him. One day, he took me inside his studio telling me that ‘the view from inside is nice’. And then he raped me, without my consent.”
The actor insists that she is talking about the incident now because "he is a habitual offender and has sexually harassed many other women, including a transgender, using his big production house as an excuse. I’m speaking up now so that he can be punished and no other woman suffers the same plight”. She however, is not keen on filing a police complaint as she doesn’t want to get entangled in a legal mess.
Earlier, the actress had shared screenshots of an Indian Idol winner propositioning her and asking her to send him her nude pictures. She also named a top director and stated that he too was involved.
