‘Manto’ to Compete in the Un Certain Regard Category at Cannes

A huge honour for Nandita Das’ film.

Nandita Das’ upcoming film Manto, which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the role of Saadat Hasan Manto, has been selected for competition in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival 2018.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared the happy news on Twitter:

“And it is possible that Saadat Hasan dies, but MANTO remains alive”.
