A day after announcing that he is going to collaborate with Vikram in Vikram 58, AR Rahman has taken to Twitter to announce that he will be reuniting with Kamal Haasan on a magnum opus. The film is titled Thalaivan Irukkindran. The music composer wrote, “Happy and excited to collaborate with the one and only Kamal Haasan himself on a magnum opus... Watch this space for more.”
Kamal Haasan replied to his tweet saying, “Thanks ARR for strengthening the team with your participation.Very few projects feel good & right even as we develop it.Thalaivan Irukkindraan is one such.Your level of excitement for the project is very contagious.Let me pass it on to the rest of our crew.”
The last Kamal Haasan film for which A.R. Rahman composed music was Thenali in 2000 – 19 years ago. This news has all of us excited and we can’t wait to watch the magic that this duo will create.
