The makers of the upcoming Marathi film AB Aani CD have released the first poster for the film, which features Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and veteran actor Vikram Gokhale. This is Amitabh’s first Marathi film and his role is a 15 minute long cameo. He will play himself as a megastar.
In the poster, Vikram is seen sporting the same look and pose as Amitabh in his iconic song ‘Saara Zamaana’ from the film Yaarana. Vikram and Amitabh play old friends in the movie. The makers unveiled the poster at Lalbaugcha Raja on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Producer Akshay Bardapurkar, director Milind Lele and actress Sayali Sanjeev were present at the poster launch.
Producers Planet Marathi shared the poster on Twitter, writing, ““AB” येतोय आपला मित्र “CD” ला भेटायला. AB Ani CD is produced by Akshay Vilas Bardapurkar and Planet Marathi and presented by Golden Ratio Films, KVR Productions and Krishna Persaud. The cast also includes Subodh Bhave, Sayali Sanjeev and Akshay Tanksale. The comedy will release in December.
