Netflix aired the teaser of the final season of the series House Of Cards during the Academy Awards which resulted in the breaking of the internet. Why? Because the teaser focusses on one thing, and one thing only: Claire Underwood.
After Kevin Spacey was let go by Netflix due multiple sexual misconduct and harassment allegations, the series has taken a turn and is now going to focus on Claire Underwood taking oath as the White House president.
House of Cards’ fifth season ended with Claire Underwood taking power in the Oval Office. In the previous season, Frank Underwood had resigned which led to Claire becoming the new Commander-In-Chief.
The filming for the 6th season began earlier this year and the release date is yet to be announced.
