Altered Carbon - S1

Based on the 2002 novel of the same name by author Richard K. Morgan, Altered Carbon is a 10-part science-fiction cyberpunk drama that is gaining ground not only for its premise but also because it apparently evokes Bladerunner. Set 300 years in the future in a futuristic version of San Francisco called Bay City, where people live on and achieve immortality by transferring their consciousness to different bodies. The lone surviving soldier from a group of warriors who were defeated in an uprising against the new world order must solve a murder.

Rejoice anime fans. The Japanase live-action adaptation for Fullmetal Alchemist is here. The Netflix film was released last year at the Tokyo Film Festival. The CGI and the production design are said to be topnotch. While alchemist Edward Elric searches for a way to restore his brother Al's body, the military government and mysterious monsters are watching closely.
