It is being reported by TMZ that Remy Weinstein made an emergency call, claiming her father, the now disgraced Hollywood mogul - Harvey Weinstein, was “depressed and suicidal”. An LAPD spokesperson confirmed that they responded to the call, later ruling it as a “family disturbance”. It seems that an argument spilled out onto the street when the call was made.

Harvey Weinstein, a Hollywood film producer and studio executive, has been accused of sexual assault and harassment lasting over three decades. Weinstein has denied these allegations and earlier on Wednesday, he was suspended from the British film academy - BAFTA.
