The album has been nominated under the ‘Best New Age Album’ category for the 58th Grammy Awards, to be held in Los Angeles on 15 February. Eleven singers have collaborated on the album with eleven bhajans. The executive producer of this collection is Madi Das, an ISKCON Vrindavan follower.

The album is a blend of musical traditions; featuring folk, bluegrass and traditional American and Irish country music in a harmonious duet with the East Indian Bhakti tradition. The resulting sound is simultaneously familiar and fresh. All profits from this record go towards education of girls in Vrindavan.

Featured artists include Chaytanya, Tulsi Devi, Sudevi Dasi, Acyuta Gopi, Gaurangi, Malika Des Fours, Carmella Gitanjali Baynie, Ananda-Amrita, Nalina Kaufman, Gaura Mani and Jahnavi Harrison. The only Indian in the group, Gaura Mani, lives in Vrindavan. The other musicians are bhakts who visit ISKCON temple each year, and are a part of a not-for-profit group that produces Indian religious music.

This is only the third time that an album with Indian religious music has been nominated for the Grammy Awards.
