The first song fromBombay Velvet is out ! Click here to check out Amit Trivedi’s Fifi, inspired by Geeta Dutt’s 1956 hit song Jaata Kahan Hai Deewane from Dev Anand starrer CID. Anurag Kashyap’s vintage world just lit up with Anushka Sharma lip syncing to this timeless Geeta Dutt melody.

Anushka who plays glam girl Rosie, tweeted about the song, pitching it as a tale of love and passion from the 60s.

The trailer of Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet had already piqued our curiosity about the film and now this catchy number is adding to the itch. Both the trailer and the song have a brilliant period feel to them. You’ll have to wait till May 15th to watch this flick set in the Bombay of the 60s in all its glory!
