Based on the timeless Charles Dickens novel Great Expectations, Abhishek Kapur’s Fitoor revamps the story we have loved through decades, with Katrina and Aditya’s fresh on-screen jodi. From the film’s brand new trailer it seems that the lead actors compliment each other in a way we could never have imagined. But the one person you simply cannot miss in the trailer is the begum, played by Tabu. As Firdaus’s mother in this classic story, Tabu once again essays a dark character that she’s been so great at portraying in Maqbool, Haider and many more films.
