Fawad Khan was recently awarded with the Best Actor award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne for his performance in Kapoor & Sons. He was accompanied with his director, Shakun Batra and Rishi Kapoor as his other co-stars were busy with The Dream Team.
In his acceptance speech, he confessed that he turned into an actor only to earn more money as he was a very bad engineer.
I couldn’t make money out of coding. I was a terrible computer engineer. I was down and I became an actor to make money. I think being honoured with this award, not just on this platform, but also on so many other Indian platforms, goes to show how much love and warmth there is in the audience all around the world.Fawad Khan, Actor
Fawad would be seen in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
