Dangal girl Fatima Sana Shaikh is back under the spotlight. The actress posted a couple of pictures of herself in a swimsuit on Instagram and the reactions she got were, let’s just say - varied.
While there were several of her fans who thought she was looking, “hot”, “stunning” and “lovely”, there were also those who were critical of her for posting a picture of herself in beachwear during the month of Ramadan.
Now, these pictures are from a photoshoot that Fatima did for GQ magazine two months ago. The actress just posted the pictures now since the issue is releasing this month.
A couple of comments on Instagram also went on to give Fatima ‘gyaan’ about “maintaining some dignity” whether Ramadan or not as they “follow the same religion”.
While Fatima is yet to react to these self-appointed guardians of Islam, what also stood out was a comment by a new Chinese fan.
Remember, Dangal has grossed over Rs 1000 crores in China, and besides Aamir Khan, Fatima too has become a celebrity across the border.
I hope “brain residual powder” means something sensible when literally translated in Chinese!
