Playboy magazine has released its first nude-free issue. The centrefold of the March issue features the daughter of actress Mariel Hemingway and great-granddaughter of novelist Ernest Hemingway, Dree Hemingway.
She is the second Hemingway to feature in the magazine. Mariel, her mother posed for the magazine in 1982.
Dree’s spread was shot by photographer Angelo Pennetta. This issue has a more naturalistic approach than the previous issues, as in October 2015, the magazine announced that from the March 2016 issue, the magazine would do a ‘safe redesign’ and will avoid full-frontal nudity.
The redesigned issue does not have ‘retouched’ photos of models. In addition, lewd cartoons, racy ads and the phrase ‘Entertainment for Men’ have been omitted.
