US President Donald Trump’s ‘Muslim ban’ policy has obviously got a lot of people talking, and the latest to comment on this pressing matter is actor Dev Patel. The Slumdog Millionaire star grew up in London with Gujarati-Indian parents that were born and brought up in Kenya and he recently bagged an Oscar nomination for his role in the humanitarian film, Lion.
Patel took a detour on the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet and spoke about the difficulties of promoting a movie during an unfortunate political season, along with other notable celebrities.

I just flew in from India a day ago. When I heard the news it was utterly devastating. The first thing that came into my head was the children who arrive on these shores with hope in their hearts.
