Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone wishes love and happiness for her former boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor, who turns 33 on September 28.

It will be a working birthday for the actor, who is starring opposite Deepika in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha.

But the workaholic actor ain’t the birthday kind.

I don’t believe in birthdays. They make me sad. I know most people feel special on this day, but I am happy when I am working.

Ranbir specially flew down from London, where he is busy shooting Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, to attend the event.

Tamasha hits the screens on November 27.
