A rangoli of Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati in her upcoming film was destroyed by a group of protesters in Surat. The artist, Karan K took to Twitter describing the incident.
“A crowd of 100 people cried Jai SriI Ram and rubbed out my 48 hours of intense work! Shocked!” he wrote.
Along with the photos, he also shared a letter by the mall management which promises not to have a “rangoli design of Padmavati” drawn in future.
