From the minute Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin has landed in Mumbai for the Global Citizen Festival India, the frenzy does not seem to stop.
We spotted Chris and the god of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar play a friendly match at Shri Gadge Maharaja Vidyalay on Friday. The two even met the students of the institution.
Sachin Tendulkar, who is also a part of the initiative, was happy to spend the day with the lead singer of Coldplay.
Not just this, Chris also managed to have Sachin replace his bat with a guitar. Oh, what we would do to watch that live!
Coldplay will be headlining the concert with various other artists and a crowd of nearly 80,000 is expected to be a part of the festival. Global Citizen Festival India is a highly anticipated event and even B-Town cannot contain their excitement for the same.
And many had their fanboy moments with the singer.
Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana seemed pretty starstruck as they posed for a picture with Chris during rehearsals.
Superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, A.R. Rahman, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif with international artists that include Jay Z, The Vamps and Demi Lovato are all going to be present for the event.
