The teaser of 'Thalapathy' Vijay's much awaited Mersal teaser was released on Thursday, and from the looks of it, it promises to be a commercial entertainer.
The teaser begins with an intriguing line that implies that one will reap what they sow. "The deeds of karma you sowed, will wait to slice you with fury", says Vijay in the opening line.
While it looks like Vijay is playing three different roles, a stark difference is visible between two of his roles – one of the magician and the other of a village hero.
A conspicuous absence in the trailer is that of the film’s heroines. The film is directed by Atlee of Raja Rani fame and Oscar-winning AR Rahman is the music director.
The film is slated to release for Diwali, and its for the Vijay fans to decide whether it will live up to their expectations.
