Satyajit Ray needs no introduction to movie lovers. The self-taught filmmaker took Indian cinema to the global audience with his debut film Pather Panchali. He never looked back. Ray went on to win 32 National Awards and an honorary Academy Award among others.
On his birth anniversary (2 May), let’s look back on the iconic scenes from some of the maestro’s films.
