Sony Pictures has just dropped the first trailer for the family adventure comedy Jumanji: The Next Level starring Dwanye ‘The Rock’ Jonson, Kevin Hart and Nick Jonas. The film is a sequel to 2017’s blockbuster hit Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and the third in the Jumanji franchise.
Jumanji: The Next Level features the return of most of the crew from Welcome to the Jungle including director Jake Kasdan and continues the story from that film. Both films are loose sequels to 1995’s Jumanji starring Robin Williams.
The films center around a magical board game and later video game which entraps its players in a different world as different characters. This time new addition to the cast Danny DeVito is the one who ends up transforming into The Rock in the game.

In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world’s most dangerous game.
Jumanji: The Next Level also stars Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Alex Wolff and Awkwafina. It is set to release in theatres on 13 December.
