The official trailer of I Am Heath Ledger is out and explores the late actor’s journey with roles in films like 10 Things I Hate About You, The Patriot, Brokeback Mountain, The Dark Knight, Monster’s Ball, among others.
Also part of the documentary are interviews from Naomi Watts, Ben Mendelsohn, director Ang Lee, and Ledger’s family and friends.
Ledger, who aspired to be a film director, suffered cardiac arrest in 2008 brought on by an accidental intoxication from prescription drugs.
I Am Heath Ledger is slated for release in theatres on 3 May. It will premiere at Tribeca Film Festival on 23 April.
